Kindergarten Promotion Standards

1. Kindergarten students may not be retained unless requested by the parent, and may not be retained more than once
2. Retention must be supported by the Principal and Regional Superintendent

First and Second Grade Promotion Guidelines

1. Student must pass Reading
2. Student must pass Math

Third through Seventh Grade Promotion Guidelines

1. Student must pass Reading
2. Student must pass Math
3. Student must pass Science

Eighth Grade Promotion Guidelines

1. Student must pass Reading
2. Student must pass Math
3. Student must pass Science
4. Student must pass Social Studies
